Who We Are

We’re Lark Mercer and Lakin Mercer, a brother-and-sister team who started Mercer Made with the idea of bringing quality American-made products to market. Family has always been at the center of what we do, and that’s reflected in the way we work together and the kinds of products we create.

How It Started

Mercer Made began in a warehouse—just the two of us with the drive to turn an idea into something real. What began as small projects for ourselves and our community slowly grew into a vision for building a business rooted in craftsmanship and creativity.

A Family Effort

In the photo we’ve attached to this page, you’ll see the two of us with Finnly, Lakin's son and my nephew, getting ready for a hike in Providence Canyon State Park. That image represents who we are beyond the workshop—family-oriented, outdoorsy, and inspired by the world around us. We carry that same sense of connection and appreciation for nature into our designs.

What Inspires Us

We’ve always loved being outside and creating art, whether it’s through exploring new trails, sketching out ideas, or experimenting with different materials in the shop. That mix of outdoor life and artistic curiosity shapes the look and feel of Mercer Made products.

Today

Mercer Made continues to grow, one project at a time. Every piece we create carries the values we started with—care, honesty, and the belief that American-made products deserve a place in people’s homes and lives.
